Investing in Our Future: Corporate Social Responsibility
Our Commitment to PNG
At Oilmin, we believe true success is measured not just by project completion, but by the lasting positive impact we leave on the communities and environments where we operate. Our CSR strategy is built on three pillars:
Community Development
Support for local educational programs, healthcare initiatives, and small business development near our project sites.
Environmental Stewardship
Employing sustainable practices, minimizing our footprint, and utilizing green technology like the BioKube systems we distribute.
Ethical Governance
Maintaining the highest standards of transparency, labor rights, and anti-corruption policies in line with international best practice.
Local Employment & Training
A core part of our CSR is prioritizing local employment and providing intensive vocational training. This ensures project sustainability and creates long-term career pathways for PNG nationals in specialized technical fields.

The Sago Project (Gulf Province)
OILMIN proudly supports the Sago Project in the Gulf Province. Senior Field Manager, Anthony Uechtritz, has spearheaded this initiative for several years, demonstrating the commitment and passion that drives OILMIN's community development efforts. Congratulations to Anthony, TOTAL PNG, KOKO NENE, and all other stakeholders for making this project possible.
Supporting Project Yumi
OILMIN actively supports PROJECT YUMI, an Australian registered charity and PNG not-for-profit organization. We provide supply and delivery of much-needed donations across PNG. PROJECT YUMI enriches lives by supplying valuable health and educational resources such as school furniture, books, stationery, and medical equipment. Contact PROJECT YUMI today to learn more.
Local Economic Participation
We continue to engage with local business communities in project areas throughout the country, fostering community business initiatives. This includes sourcing fresh produce, local timbers/rig boards, and supporting local employment, thereby contributing to the socio-economic well-being of the people of Papua New Guinea.
